Mild Banana Muffin Base Mix - 5 lb mylar bag
This mild banana muffin mix is the perfect muffin base to reach for when you want a soft chewy sweet muffin to eat but want to flavor it to your own taste. You can add mashed bananas to give it a more traditional stronger flavor or add other flavorings or fruits for variety. The subtle banana flavoring in this mix will not overpower other flavors that are added. This mix is easy to use and it is great to whip up for breakfast, brunch, or as a snack.

Ingredients: Bleached wheat flour (enriched with niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, malted barley, folic acid), sugar, vegetable shortening (may contain one or more of the following oils: soybean, cottonseed, canola), soy flour, whey (from milk), leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum phosphate, sodium aluminum sulfate, monocalcium phosphate), dried eggs, salt, soy protein, artificial flavor, sodium stearoyl lactylate, guar gum.
Contains: Wheat, dairy, egg and soy.
Directions: Mix 3 cups muffin mix with 1 1/4 cups cold water in an electric mixer for 30 seconds on low speed, then 1 minute on medium speed. Do not over beat. For added texture and flavor, 1 tsp. oil may be added. For stronger banana flavoring, add 2 mashed bananas and reduce water to 1 cup. For a variety add nuts and fruits. Grease bottom of muffin tins and fill only 2/3 full. Bake at 375 F degrees for 15-20 minutes or until done to the touch.
*Because of the leavening in these mixes they may begin to expand. When you use the product it may require adding a small amount of baking powder to mix.
