Directions: Rinse natural quinoa several times by running fresh water over it in a pot and pouring through a strainer. Place 2 cups water and a pinch of salt in a saucepan and bring to a rapid boil. Add 1 cup quinoa, reduce heat, cover, and simmer until all of the water is absorbed, 15-25 minutes. For a rich, nutty flavor, toast quinoa (with or without oil) in a skillet, stirring constantly, before adding to the water.
